My husband and I were able to put the piece together in about two hours and the directions were easy to follow. I think the price of this piece of furniture was fair. It's not a high-end piece, but it's not low-quality either. Nice middle-of-the-road piece of furniture that finished off our living room nicely. My only disappointment is the color; it (dark oak) could clearly be categorized as orange. We were trying to match a piece we already had in our living room. Overall, I would recommend this furniture and definitely Home Decorators Collection. Their shipping was faster than indicated and the item was packed nicely.
