(More customer reviews)I ordered this table and chairs set a couple of weeks ago and received it yesterday. I was so excited until I opened the first box, in which I found the seat cushion to one of the chairs in the box was missing. The other seat cushion had 6 black marks on the white cushion. It was clear the box had been opened previously and returned without all the pieces in it. I also was confused because I ordered a "buttermilk white" table set and the chairs delivered were honey yellow.
As I continued opening boxes, I found the rest of the chairs were also the same yellow color. But when I opened the table, I found that it was the "buttermilk white" shade pictured in the photos. Great except for the fact that it doesn't match any of the chairs, right? It looks ridiculous.In addition, the table top had two big nicks in it, and the leaf in the table was actually glued in on one side so that when I attempted to remove it, it ripped the wood veneer completely off the edge, leaving the side raw wood.
I am so disappointed with this product on every level. This is an expensive set. I thought paying over $1600 for a casual table and chairs set would actually give me a quality product. Certainly not true in this case.
I have not yet heard back from Stacks and Stacks on how they plan to fix all of the problems with my order. I can't really imagine any "solution" will be great since it will likely mean repacking and returning very heavy furniture boxes, waiting another few weeks to get replacement furniture, and then going through the assembly of all the pieces AGAIN. (The chairs take about 30-45 min each to assemble).
