I have it sitting on a black and white pattern rug that fits it just right. I didn't buy it from Amazon but from the same company. Their shipping turned out to be cheaper. Very nicely packaged, all carefully wrapped. It took me about half an hour to put the whole thing together. Comes with all the tools you'll need. Don't try to carry the glass top, it's quite heavy and it requires two people. And don't screw the seats of the chairs too tight. The screws are a little too long, they'll hold the seat in place but if you overscrew them you will feel them through the seat. But once together, oh what an amazing looking product. But to be perfectly honest it isn't something for every day use. The table is sturdy but the chairs are fake leather. I've had it for 4 months and used it maybe 4-5 times tops. It's for dinner parties rather than daily family dining. Regardless, it is beautiful.
