(More customer reviews)I purchased the gathering table and chairs from a different merchant last year.While the set is beautiful, I'm disappointed in the quality of the table top.Basically, it scratches easily and develops heat marks even through a thick heat mat.This is not a table that stands up well to daily use.If you intend to use this table daily, I recommend using a table cloth or a custom ordered table pad.Also, we found the butterfly leaf opened awkwardly - we had to really push and pull to get the thing to operate.But since we don't use the leaf often it's just a minor annoyance.
The chairs are well-made and comfortable but knowing now what I didn't know then, I would not have purchased this set.
