(More customer reviews)We bought the berkline 5th avenue rafferty (dark merlot finish) but I would imagine this applies to all berkline tables with the hidden leaf.The table is heavy and very significant.The leaf hinges already fell out of the stripped holes when we received our table but my husband was resourceful and wrapped paper 'anchors' around the screw hinges to prevent them from falling out.They are sturdy now and a nice alternative to shipping the massive table back.What really caught my attention online was the hidden leaf feature and the sturdy cross bars at the base of the legs.Because the crossbars are there, our non-rafferty chairs do not push all the way in.That's not a big deal.The bars are great foot rests!As a circle we can fit up to 8 chairs, expanded 10 and maybe 12.Thanksgiving here we come!This table is getting much more actual dining-on than our 'formal' thomasville set at one third the price!Great value!I give it 4 out of 5 because of the stripped holes.
